This is wonderful hotel in a great settingWe really enjoyed spending 2 nights here in the corner Jr. Suite on a canal with views of the Grand Canal beyond the Bridge of Sighs. The room exceeded our expectations for space and grandeur. The entire staff was very pleasant, prompt, helpful and spoke perfect English. The hotel is accessible by private water taxi from the airport, for a price, or take the public water "bus" to the San Marco stop for 26 or so Euro. The stop before San Marco is closer, but you've got to drag your luggage over two bridges. I'd stay here again in a minute as the overall experience was great, in a nice central location.
Fabulous LocationUnfortunatly only stayed for one night at this great hotel. The location is great, one street back from St Marcs Square and surrouded by great restaurants and shops. Room was large and overlooking the canals. The bathroom was very clean, breakfast was included and bought to the room. Easy to get to when arriving by ferry or water taxi, only 5 mins easy walk from the ferry station. (No bridges or stairs to cross with bagage!!)
Could not be happierWe traveled to Venice from Boston with our 16 year-old Grand Daughter who resides in Indiana. It was a birthday gift and she chose Venice and the Greek Islands as her destination. We offered a trip to "anywhere in the world". We wanted the stay in Venice to be special and it was. This hotel was terrific in every way. My Wife and I have been to Venice before and in Italy we stayed at BIG NAME hotels in the past. This was a smaller and more European hotel. The staff was outstanding not just good, as was the setting and the room. We would never stay anywhere else in Venice after this experience. With hundreds of other choices, we are fortunate to have picked this hotel on-line for this trip.
Pure luxuryIt was a joy to relax in our room for an afternoon siesta and after a long day sightseeing. The soft seating and tables and lamps made a lovely romantic setting. The bathroom and huge tub were amazing. We had a junior suite with a Juliette balcony overlooking the Ponte dei Sospiri (bridge of sighs). We had a four poster bed and delicious breakfast brought to the table in our room every morning. It was a luxurious experience.
Excellent location and lovely hotelThe hotel is well situated for all amenities and is just two minutes from St marks square. Staff were really courteous and friendly. We up graded to a canal view which whilst we could not see the Bridge of Sighs due to building work was worth the extra money. Breakfast was pleasant and served in your room. All in all a great little hotel that has charm and a great location.
