The first edition took place in October 1986 and from that year, Venice, it regularly renews the appointment with athletes from all over the world who come here to “run” between competition and history.
Now in its 33rd edition, the Venice Marathon, is a 42.195 km run with departure from Stra (a small town near Padua), passing through the Rive Del Brenta and the San Giuliano Park,
until you get to Venice where, crossing a bridge of boats (built only for this event), pass from Punta Della Salute to Piazza San Marco and then cross the finish line in RIVA SETTE MARTIRI.
